Now some of you have heard of Led Zeppelin or Jimmy Page only? If not, But what the hell they hear? As it is what I consider the best guitarist of all time, without quitarlecredito Slash (God) or Mike Drint, but Jimmy Page is THE BEST, and really I hear otherwise, so if you do not agree AHORRENSELO! well as I said is the best guitarist of all more time, and yes, I think is even better than Hendrix. BIOGRAPHY

Jimmy Page, OBE (born under the name of James Patrick Page on January 9, 1944 in Heston, Middlesex, England) is a famous guitarist known for being one of the leaders of the rock group Led Zeppelin from 1968 until its dissolution in 1980, and is considered one of the large, influential and versatile guitarists of all time. Page has been, Throughout his career, session musician and guitarist of The Yardbirds, Led Zeppelin and The Firm. He has also collaborated as a session musician with many musical formations and authors, among them The Rolling Stones, The Who, Queen, The Kinks, Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck. In turn, he recorded several albums with the likes of David Coverdale, Roy Harper and Joe Cocker. In 2005, he was honored as a member of the Order of the British Empire for his charitable work in aid of the disadvantaged in Brazil.





Jimmy Page is the son only a clerk, James Page, and a secretary and nurse, Patricia Elizabeth Gaffikin.2

Born in Heston, an old villa-turned-suburb of Greater London, located in the west. When Jimmy was eight years old in 1952, his family moved to Epsom, another suburb of Greater London, located in the south, where he received his first contacts with music.

At age 12, Page got his first guitar, and even took some lessons with this instrument, is mostly a musician autodidacta.3 His early significant influence Scotty Moore and James Burton, both guitarists and rockabilly that had previously played with Elvis Presley, Johnny 4 and Day, a contributor to The Everly Brothers.2 In 1957, counting Page with 13, first appeared on television in a program for young talent, Huw Wheldon Show, playing the song "Mama Do not Want to Play No Skiffle No More" .3 The Page fondness for the guitar was so great that he would take his instrument to school, being confiscated most times. Although Page was interested in science, coming to get a job as a lab assistant, decided to leave school to start a music career, and after several attempts, Page managed to join a rock band, The Crusaders, which had the singer Neil Christian. Your stay in this band lasted more than two years, during which contracted mononucleosis Page not prevent him from giving concerts, but decided to leave temporarily parked his musical career to plunge into his other passion, painting, so that enrolled at art college in Sutton, Surrey.
